Psalms 58 and Isaiah 48:8 talk about our rebel birth, and it is such a shameful truth. We are born sinners, that is not a new fact to our Heavenly father. I read in Matthew Henry Commentary and it summed us up by saying, " They go astray from God and their duty as soon as they are born, (that is, as soon as possibly they can); the foolishness that is bound up in their hearts appears with the first operations of reason; as the wheat springs up, the tares spring up with it."
Its amazing how we began to go about our selfish, lustful, and decietful ways even at the age when we first learn to reason. What do we have to gain from rebelling from God? Nothing, but we do it anyway

The second year, the Lord spoke this message through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak: The Indifference of the People The Lord who rules over all says this: “These people have said, ‘The time for rebuilding the Lord’s temple has not yet come.’” So the Lord spoke through the prophet Haggai as follows “Is it right for you to live in richly paneled houses while my temple is in ruins? Here then is what the Lord who rules over all says: ‘Think carefully about what you are doing. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but are never filled. You drink, but are still thirsty. You put on clothes, but are not warm. Those who earn wages end up with holes in their money bags.’” The Instruction of the People “Moreover, the Lord who rules over all says: ‘Pay close attention to these things also.

Opportunities Come And Go, So Be Ready!!!!

Opportunities present themselves at different times and places and spaces of your life. All you can do is prepare your self for the opportunities that will arise. I find myself at this time in my life preparing for what I believe will be a huge door opening in a arena of life that I know I am gifted by God to be in. But if I don't prepare myself, and think I'm just gonna sit here and say, "God move me where you know I need to be." without putting in the work to better myself, I would be ignorant. Instead I put in time and dedication, cultivating the gifts that God has given me so that when he allows me to have the opportunity, I can shine and give him the glory for the gifts he has so graciously given.

That principle applies to any gift in the life of anyone who recognizes there God given gift and says, Lord I am going to do all I can to use this gift you have gave to the best of my ability. I'm trusting that you are going to open the doors that are needed to be opened to take me where you want me to go to uplift and encourage whomever you need to encourage thru the gift you have so graciously given me. God is faithful and will never fail at opening the doors for us when we say, ok Lord I'm ready to trust and depend on you and have the faith in you, that you are going to bless me in the area of my gifts.

Too often we try to use our gifts the way that others use them. We want to be just like Jonny Lee and Sally Sue. Well why would you want to be a carbon copy, when God has exclusively made you an original. The Encouragement for you is to Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path! That's a promise from the word of God. Remember these words and apply your God given gifts to everyday life, and you will truly see good fruit produced in your life. Be blessed, strengthened and Encouraged.

Cleaning out the inside

Cleaning out the inside of our cars could be compared to the cleaning out of our bodily insides. the bible tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. we have seen and been in the shoes of those who walk around with their outsides spiffed and clean, but their insides hurt, trahsed out and filled with despair. these r the ppl that Jesus came for, those that need that vacuum on the inside to clean all the debris out. This is the work of the Holy Spirit, to sanctify and clean us on the inside. that doesnt mean we wont make mistakes, it means the he will literally keep us swept clean on the inside until Christ returns to make us totally and perfectly clean always....amen

Lil cuzzy Mara

	My wife and i I love this woman with all my heart, mind, and soul. thank God for such a wonderful wife. Friday at plaza Tonight my family and i are at the plaza listening to my uncle maurice and cousin mara. they are good entertainment for the night. it feels really good out here. its gotta b perfect weather and scenery out here. befor we came and set down to watch, i had to check a few guys who were trying to check out my lil cousin aira. lol....that was funny. perfect nights like this always seem to end way to fast so let me get off here and let the pics tell the story! Thursday, July 16, 2009 I love my son It's amzing how tine flies. I remember being a little kid thinking, i wonder who my wife is, and what my son is going to be like. It's an amazing sight to know im actually living in that moment! My son is a handsome little guy, with an amazing personality. Just watching him grow up is so incredible. I making this legacy for him, as well as those who may view images and details of my life when my time is up. Yes i love my wife, mom, dad, brothers, and all my extended family. But there's a special place in my heart for my first born son. I thank God for blessing me with such a healthy son, and the times he was not healthy God kept us calm and controlled so could provide live and care for him. I Love My Son!!!!! Friday, July 10, 2009 Arc and the sky A couple of weeks ago we went to Saint Louis. it was so amazing to c the arc structure up close and personal. it got me thinking about the city and structures that God is preparing for us. the New Jerusalem!!!!! The creator and creation Today as with other days i always look to Gods great creation for inspiration. there is no part of this great creation that doesn't inspire me to want to worship and serve the creator. God wants us to understand his word and his creation, and when we comprehend that he his the master of both of these masterpieces, we can worship in spirit and in truth My My secret place where i prayed this morning and resisted the devil. thank God for victory over the devouring lion with a leash. Today i couldnt think straight, or seem to get a prayer thru. It took about a hour for me to realize i was being attacked by the enemy. So i did a James 4:7 Thursday, July 9, 2009 Yo Today i enjoyed my free time at the gym. Its always peaceful for me to play basketball. But the highlight of the night was movie night with the family Prayer changes things. This is so true. But what if you don't know how to pray? What if you don't know what to pray when you pray? This can present a problem. Today I began working on the outline for my book, "How To Pray Effectively?". Me being a black man, I have noticed that in the black church we are not doctorinally sound. Now that's not to say that all black churches are like that. Honestly, it is a shame that I have to even specify black church, but that's a whole different discussion. Anyway, I am creating this book because when I went through my time where I couldn't seem to get a good prayer through, or so I felt I couldn't I went to the word of God and found peace. I want to alluminate some of the passages I read while going through my test of discouraging prayer moments in my life. I feel that maybe my completion of that test and the many that I've been through and still kept the faith, can help another brother or sister in the faith.
